Grand Rapids ranked among the nation’s best cities for new college graduates

Checkr recently ranked Grand Rapids #20 on their list of the Best US Cities for New College Grads in 2024.

Each year, Checkr cultivates a list of US cities that are best fit for recent college graduates. This ranking is based on three categories: employment, affordability, and social aspects. The Right Place is proud to share that Grand Rapids was ranked #20 on this list.

Checkr also generated a separate ranking based on larger cities with a population of more than 500,000 people. Recent graduates are attracted to these cities to seek out the wealth of opportunities and amenities they offer. On this particular list, Grand Rapids was ranked at #3, following Madison, WI and Fayetteville, AR. With a combination of affordability and above average wages, these cities are perfectly fit for recent graduates.
